When to visit: Tenerife’s subtropical climate permits 12 months of golf. Winter and spring are the most crowded, yet summer provides endless days and prices that are slightly cheaper.
Getting there: Daily flights from the principal U.S. and European cities go through Madrid, Lisbon, or London. Tenerife South Airport (TFS) is closest to the main golf resorts, but Tenerife North (TFN) serves the northern coast.
Weather and travel: Expect gentle winds, low humidity, and sunshine nearly every day. Bring a light jacket for the evenings, especially if you’re planning to visit the higher altitudes near Mount Teide.
